Cardinal Sin

Why don't we ever learn? We stumble, we fall and we pick ourselves up...not without struggle, not without a scythe ripping us apart. Yet , then again, in the same rut..into the same pit of folly we jump. Only meander away from pain to knock at its sick doors again.. It is human to err...but is it human to be an ass? This cardinal sin of idiocy ! Would it ever part?
